Velocity Micro Arrives at Circuit City This Summer
Richmond, VA — June 12, 2007 — Velocity Micro, the premier independent builder of custom, high performance PCs and workstations, announces today that it will launch new desktops and notebooks in select Circuit City (NYSE: CC) stores nationwide on July 22. Simultaneously launching on circuitcity.com, Velocity Micro arrives at Circuit City just in time for the back to school season.
At launch, Circuit City will be the exclusive retail destination for Velocity Micro’s new custom performance notebooks - the NoteMagix X20 and NoteMagix X25, both featuring Intel Core 2 Duo desktop processors and NVIDIA® GeForce® 8M Series graphics supporting Microsoft DirectX 10.
"We’re delighted not only to add Velocity Micro desktop and notebook PCs to our product lineup, but also to be the exclusive retailer for their brand new notebook offerings at launch," said Elliot Becker, Circuit City’s vice president and general merchandising manager for technology. "Velocity Micro produces exciting, cutting-edge, extreme high performance PCs for gamers, enthusiasts and others who want a top-of-the-line computing experience."
"We’re very excited to join forces with Circuit City to offer PC users a new destination for high performance computers.
