Navisworks Workstations

Our custom workstations optimized for Navisworks are designed for architects and engineers. Design and create integrated models to share during the preconstruction process as well as assist with project analysis using these specialized hardware solutions.

Performance Optimized

Our Navisworks workstations are specifically designed for high demand workflows to maximize performance without wasted resources. You won’t find a faster PC for either modeling or rendering anywhere else.

Expert Build Quality

Every PC we create is meticulously crafted by expert hands using only premium grade parts. The end result is a faster, more reliable PC that helps you get more done.

25 Years Experience

We’ve been building award winning workstations for professional workflows since 1997. It's that legacy that we continue to bring to every workstation PC we create today.

3D Modeling

ProMagix™ HD60

Navisworks for 3D model creation is frequency bound, meaning the core speed of the processor is more important to overall performance than is core count. That’s right – more cores may not be better! For this reason, we recommend our ProMagix HD60 which offers clock speeds up to 5.3GHz to make the most of your productivity with a workflow focused mainly on creating designs for review.

ProMagix™ HD150

If multithreaded applications like rendering photorealistic images of your project is part of your workflow, investing in more cores may be advantageous. Though the HD60 can be customized with up to 16 physical cores and 32 threads, for heavy rendering you may find our HD150 to be better suited for those needs. Navisworks FAQ

How many CPU cores do I need?

For most Navisworks workstation users, the ideal configuration is a high CPU core frequency with fewer CPU cores. If you are taking 2D models and rendering out to realistic 3D images, a multicore processor will accelerate that process. Not all user workflows are the same, so be sure and contact us for an optimized configuration.

Don’t I need Xeon?

Intel Xeon processors are great for highly threaded applications or those that require ECC RAM, but for Navisworks, Core i7 or i9 are a much better value and typically will perform better overall.

Quadro or Geforce graphics – which is best?

That answer depends on your specific workflow. For most Navisworks users, Geforce cards are a better value. But for heavy render tasks, Quadro offers more horsepower if needed. Check out this blog post for more details.

Is Hard Drive speed important for Navisworks?

As a general rule faster SSDs will reduce load and save times, especially when working with very large, complex models or managing multiple windows.

I don’t know what I need – can you help?
