Why can't I play games with my ATI card on my Intel Dx58SO motherboard?
With certain PCI-Express x16 video adapters using the ATI GPU on the Intel DX58SO motherboard, programs with advanced 3D graphics may fail to load properly, crash to desktop, or otherwise behave with bugginess. To help address this issue, certain BIOS chagnes may need to be made.
Press F2 on system startup in order to enter the BIOS Setup Program. Navigate to the Advanced menu, then to PCI Express Configuration, and Enable all three Compliance Modes listed. Then exit saving changes and test your system.
