Las Vegas, NV — March 16, 2005 — Velocity Micro, the leading North American manufacturer of award-winning, ultra performance, custom built gaming systems, desktops, notebooks, and professional workstations, announced today the appointment of Velocity Micro CEO Randy Copeland to Intel's Board of Advisors for the Premier Provider program. As a member of the Board of Advisors, Copeland will assist the board in making recommendations on products and channel programs. The primary objectives of the board are to help shape product design and validate Intel's plan and direction for the future.

The fourteen member advisory panel reflects the current diversity of the Intel Premier Provider program, with all different segments of the market represented. On the board, Copeland will represent the interests and viewpoint of consumer-oriented channel partners, especially those geared toward gaming and PC enthusiasts.

"Being appointed to this advisory panel reflects the strong relationship between Intel and Velocity Micro. This further solidifies an excellent relationship that has been built on our history of first-to-market product launches and product testing. I'm honored to have been appointed and I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to shaping Intel's roadmap for the future," Copeland said, on learning of his appointment.

Premier Providers are identified by Intel as the preferred source for Intel products and technologies and benefit from Intel's world-class reputation and brand recognition. Membership in the program is by invitation only. Premier Providers enjoy increased support from Intel in the form of new product samples, preferred status, and increased marketing budgets.
