The Intel® Centrino® Duo processor technology includes several advances from the previous platform. One anticipated example is users can watch an entire movie without depleting the battery in the notebook. This advancement is credited to the super fast 800 MT/s front side bus featuring Dynamic Front Side Switching technology ensuring the Intel Core 2 Duo processor functions at optimal speed while at the same time conserving power to decrease battery drain. The Intel® Centrino® Duo processor technology with the optional next-gen WiFi adapter also speeds web browsing up to five times at double the range, meaning you can download that movie too. For clearer video, the new Intel® 965 Express chipset and GMA X3000 graphics promise clarity twice what the previous platform could provide.
